The Milligan Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with the International School of Story in their 2017 Hope Walk.
Emra Smith of the the International School of Story will kick off the 21-day HOPE Walk at the Isle of HOPE Marina, Isle of Hope, Savannah, Georgia on Monday, March 27, 2017 at sunrise.
Several stops are scheduled in the Savannah/Statesboro area before Emra heads to the Savannah airport, Thursday March 30th for a flight to California.
The journey from San Rafael, CA to Los Angeles will include the historical El Camino missionary road. Tracey Milligan, from The Milligan Foundation will be joining Emra, and they will walk approximately 6-10 miles a day. While on this inspirational journey Emra will share HOPE by giving free life coaching phone calls, and Tracey will share hope by telling stories of overcoming adversity, and living your fullest life in any circumstances.
They will meet with community leaders and discuss community empowerment. The message of HOPE will be shared in community centers, schools, and churches along the route. The HOPE Walk will include serving the communities they visit by volunteering at local shelters and food pantries.
They will share how HOPE can be spread and encourage positive actions to help facilitate personal and community change.
